Make sure you spend time with the child, ask questions but not too many, and be available for advice. These are the kinds of things that matter. Laugh and play, try to understand the new fashions, play the games, and teach, teach, teach. Teach the child to fish, skate, crafts, iron, laundry, cook, fix autos, whatever you know just pass it on.
