People in the United States celebrate National Weatherman’s Day every year on February 5. This very day is the birthday of John Jeffries, the father of the American weather observation. Jeffries was one of the first weather observers.
People celebrate this day to show honor and remind us of the selfless commitment of the men and women who are working with weather. They relentlessly work to observe the condition of the weather so that we can be safe at home or outside.
In this modern era where there are supercomputers and latest technology, people can simply think that there is no need of weatherman. But observing weather is such an ever-changing and tricky matter that only weatherman can navigate. They deserve thanks from the core of our hearts.
