The Chevrolet 2500 was marketed from the year 1973 to 1978. It was the third generation version of General Motors’ C/K series cars. It had a wide range of engines: 4.1L I6, 4.8L I6, 4.3L V6, 5.0L V8, 5.7L V8, 6.6L V8 and 7.4L V8. The transmission was also different according to the model: 3-speed THM-350 automatic, THM-400 automatic, 4-speed 700R4 automatic, 3-speed Saginaw Muncie SM465 manual, and 4-speed New Process NV833 with manual overdrive.
The wheelbases were 2,985 mm, 3,340 mm and 4,178 mm.
