inThe Iron man
Iron Man- as a superhero, debuted and was made into the comic world in a series called- Tales of Suspense in 1963. One thing is very clear about him- he can’t be kept down for long that’s why he is invincible. He started his fictional journey as Tony Stark-an extra ordinary engineer, industrialist and a playboy, who is forced to generate deadly weapons under the confinement of terrorists. He had a plan for an electrically armored suit, which is powered by many technological devices and weapons, to escape from that captivity and later used it for the safety of mankind. Alcohol is Iron Man’s greatest weakness and he too felt the wrath of Kathy Dare-his earlier lover, who shot him.

Out of the entire characters of Avenger series, Captain America is the most patriotic one which came into the fictional world of Marvel Comics as an ordinary human on 4th July 1920 as Steve Rogers and later converted to the epitome of human perfection through scientific intervention (Super Solder Serum) and further made more powerful with the Vita –rays. His unforgettable love, never-ending duty for his country and outrageous, heroic fight with the Axis alliance is un-paralleled. His costume, inscribed with the American Flag gives us an idea of his patriotic intensity and his indestructible shield brings more laurels to his physical appearance. But his weaknesses are as similar to that of any normal human being and his love interest rests in Sharon Carter, a secret agent.

The journey of Spectre continued in the golden age till All Star Comics#23 (Winter 1944-1945).
